Any ECU tuner other than Reflash and Kpro?

I was searching the threads and couldn't find one on this so I was wondering...
Other then Hondata reflash and Kpro is there any other ECU tuners for the 2006 rsx-s.
Any input is appreciated.

Why would you want to avoid the easiest tune option for this platform, not to mention the most readily available and capable? You could probably use AEM EMS but I dont know why you would.

Hondata , AEM , or Haltech or your options. Hondata would be the best option imo

thanks for the input. The reason being is the fact that Kpro is not compatible with the 06 ECU and the reflash is not recommended with a race header.

Even though its not recommended to do a reflash with a race header Can you still safely do it without it messing anything up or running to lean?

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Maybe that is the better question.

The KPRO from the 02-04 is NOT Compatible for plug n play on the 05-06.

To ACQUIRE KPRO for the 05-06, You would need to send in a PRB type-s ECU or they will supply one for a fee.

As far as I know, and this includes talking with Hondata, the 05-06 ECU is not compatible with Kpro due to the fact that it has a different microprocessor.

Does anyone have the experience that can tell me if the Reflash will still be able to be used with a Race Header without running the risk of it being to lean?

Hondata recommends not doing it and going with Kpro (possibly just to get you to buy $1145 Kpro instead of $265 reflash) imo.

If u plan on modifying it then shell out for kpro or an ecu so u know u wont run lean. Its worth the peace of mind

Buy a 02-04 ecu and send it into hondata. They will modify to working with 05-06 and send it back with an adapter harness. Very easy and straight forward.

He didn't say for free, he said for a FEE, haha!

They're asking what you're trying to accomplish because if you just want to put a header on your car and never touch it again, reflash is fine. I'd guess the large majority of people will want to wrench on their car more often and the ability to keep tuning on the ECU is what they would want.
