Kenwood DNN991 and X998

More to industry guys and installers, but has anyone gotten to play with a Kenwood DNN991 yet? rumors are all over the place on it and one is that it has true 3-way xover capability and the single din x998 is supposed to have limited 3 way capability as well with a shelf filter for tweeters, but no bandpass (not a big deal if you can work the bandpass with an amp's xover). I have yet to be able to confirm this for either but the 998 manual shows the tweeter filter but no real instructions on it (kenwood's documentation always has sucked).

If the 3-way rumor is true I may have just found my next HU in the DNN991 especially if it is the same as the European 9230 which it resembles.
