Second, any feeling as to whether or not your exhaust add any hp? I was under the impression from reading in the performance section that exhaust didn't do much performance wise. Someone in a store today told me that an exhaust did help performance a lot. Of course, you can't believe anyone who is trying to sell you something so I'm just wondering what your impression was.

I truly believe exhaust is more or less for the sound. On some cars you'll see large gains, but it looks as though the stock exhaust on the RSX is already pretty good.
Chris, when you made your runs did you toss the spare, jack, amp, floormats, empty the glovebox, run with about 1/8 th tank of gas, blow the rear tires up to about 65 psi. for less rolling resistance..........all of these things help, but more so with low torque motors. Usally in spring and in fall the air is the best at Great Lakes Dragaway. Any idea what the barometer was at yesterday? High barometric pressure is natures own H.P. booster. Any tail wind involved?I plan on getting to the track in the next month or so......we should hook-up and I will let you make a few passes with my new nitto drag radials. It certainly appears that you have a very strong running car.
Nope. I left everything in the trunk. I did drop my air pressure in my front tires to 35psi from 40. It was sunny and about 45 deg. and that probably helped.
Honda Power, look at the track name on the E.T. slip.
Chris, back to the trunk full of junk. Only good things are instore for your RSX when you lighten the load. That time gets more impressive as the details are filtering through. There's gold in them thar hill's..........just a matter of finding more.
pulling out a 14.6 after a 2.37 60' time, i'd say the exhaust helped. did you get any wheelspin on the 1st-2nd shift? that was probably my biggest problem and why i didn't get into the 14.6's.
Very very nice! Damnit, the track by my house is high in elevation. I want to go to sea level! I know there is some factors to put into it, but i want to go to sea level and do it myself. I think the one by my house, i can do 15.3 easy with my intake. At sea level, its like 14.8 or something. This track is about 2000 ft high. So go figure! Anywayz, nice run!
That's a really fast trap speed. You must be catching traction real early and not be spinning much. But your 60ft doesn't reflect, your intake exhaust must be doing a lot.
He had to have been in 4th gear, that speed in 3rd isn't possible.
I'm confused about wheelspin on the 1st->2nd shift. Wouldn't the quickest shift yield the least time not accelerationg (in neutral) and make your time faster, so they kind of cancel each other out?
