Hey, everyone!!

New to the forum of course but not new to forums so there hopefully wont be any stupid questions posted by me without searching first ;)

Just picked up a new to me 2002 RSX which I'm absolutely in love with. I've been wanting a new daily driver for a while now and have always been a big RSX fan. Over the last 8 months or so, my daily driver has been a 1995 Mitsubishi Mirage with a 1.5L and an auto 3 speed...needless to say, that vehicle wasnt the sexiest car in the world. I will say it ran like a champ and served its purpose, but it was time for me to get something new.

I've been looking at a few RSX's for the last few days and then Sunday night I found one that caught my eye...it was located about 30 miles north of me and since i'm off on Mondays, I decided to run over and check it out.

Like a lot of us, I was kinda looking for a Type-S but never found one that really fit my budget or it had a ton of miles on it for a stupid amount of money lol. So, I broadened the search for just a nice RSX which would be a great daily driver and when i drove this...I pretty much had to have it. It wasnt the greatest deal in the world but it also wasnt a bad deal either. Its a base auto with leather and sunroof which came bone stock with the exception of a nice kenwood headunit and tinted windows. Vehicle came from Arizona and is absolutely rust free and spotless. It has 75K on it and the black leather as well as the carpet interior are spotless as well. It even has the stock RSX mats which look like they were never used. It has also of course never been wrecked or in any incident. Picked the vehicle up with nothing down and basically no trade for $8,800 out the door.

As mentioned, I absolutely love this vehicle already...I dont have any mods planned for it in order to keep it a great daily driver besides a kn drop in (not going the intake route due to not pairing it with an exhaust) and that'll be pretty much it.

Sorry for the long intro...looking forward to everything I learn here :)

Heres the vehicle right after I brought it home...hasnt been cleaned up or anything yet. Oh, only thing i've done is removed the oxidation on the headlights so they're clear again.

Lemme know what ya think!

Also...for those interested in what my non-daily driver is, its my 1999 TJ (35's, gears, axles, tummy tuck, etc).

Welcome, enjoy the car for what it is: a sporty gas saver. I don't suggest modding it but you got a good car right there.

Thanks, man...I absolutely love the car.

I dont plan on modding it at all...just a drop in kn filter and that'll be it. I may put a lip on the deck lid but we'll see what happens. Then its just normal maintenance and drive it every day.

thanks for the welcome!

I'd be interested for sure...and thank you very much for the help with the vehicle. I'll be reading up a lot over the next few days to make sure i'm familiar with it as well. My RSX wont be anything special in terms of mods but it'll definitely be clean...especially for a dd. Heck, i could even show up with the jeep sometime haha.

Thanks again for the welcome! Lookin forward to meeting the locals...
