Haha i usually just pick up the phone and call him when i need him, im not about to put his number out to the whole world though! LoL. He's definatly a pilot and an expert tuner, dunno bout the pron though!!!

If you need a second opinion, I'd gladly analyze your logs. The usual datalogs (3rd gear WOT 2500 to redline, plus 2500-3500 WOT in fifth or sixth for low rpm/high load knock analysis) and the calibration used will do.

Pearl, after 6000 rpm AFR looks decent. You are not getting any knock counts at WOT which is good. I did some minor fuel tuning on the low cam and on the high cam up to 6000 rpm. Your AFR is in the correct spot, 11.60:1.


Couple more things: Your 550cc injectors are running at 89% at 8300rpm. If you inecreased your revs to 8800rpms you would be too close to max. Also, once it starts to get cooler, you will have to increase fueling VIA the IAT compensation tables(use conrads temp calculator to correctly set the tables). This will mean that your injectors will be even closer to max in the cooler ambient air temps. I suggest you look at a set of larger injectors soon if you plan on ever running higher boost pressures or high RPMs or the combination of both.

Boost flashes to 10 psi then settles to roughly 8psi at the top end. This is normal behavior for the greddy kit, due to several reasons. One being the small turbine section. So don't be alarmed by this.

Anyway, try this new calibration and datalog again to see what we have.

I will upload tomorrow and do 2 more pulls... Should I do a light load lower rpm log like Conrad suggests? If so I'll let you know.

I may make it a point to trailer this POS to a dyno near you when that time comes!

Ok, I uploaded that calibration and the car now has a misfire under low load from 1000-3000rpm, and its quite annoying....

Did you change anything in that area or am I lookin for a mechanical issue?

appears to hold a more steady 11.7 midrange now, but havent driven it enough to datalog, it started sputtering and I put it up.

i only changed fuel values in that area. I have noticed that with the new version of k-manager, if you don't set the advanced settings correct you will have jerking at low loads with larger injectors.

if you updated to the new version, you may want to play with the advanced injector over-run cut off delay settings.

ok, now that I've looked at those settings and I feel like I'm a retard.

What should I be changing? I would assume I need to lower the values on the low cam overun settings?
