Most problems with brakes are not covered under warrantee unless it can be proven there is a manufacturers defect.... Brakes go in the list of things considered normal maintenance items...
IF the brakes are squealing... or squeaking....; try removing the rim and look for dust buildup or something loose....
Get them measured, and compared to specs (there are 2 specs, minimum allowable tolerance, and minimum machining spec). Any shop who does brakes all the time will have a spec book or access to repair guides (alldata, mitchell, OE).

P.S. there is no "standard" used for specs, every vehicle is different.
if your turning your wheel and it clicks, its not going to be your brakes. That sounds more of a cv axle problem where there is a cracked boot and the grease leaked out. Check the boot and see if there is a tear in it.
this is more of a last resort but a guy I know had somewhat of the same problem.
It turned out it had to do with his suspension being over torqued :dontknow:
Just thought I'd put that out there
