Every 60k sounds reasonable.

Pretty much as often as I change my oil... which is twice a year. It's only $15 for Amsoil and easy to do, so why not?

What's the factory recommendation? Like 100k? :ugh:

100K lol I've never known an RSX to last that long with a smooth gearbox.

^Actually I'm at 81k and never been changed to my knowledge. Still smooth as butter.
However i am thinkin I should do it anyway, but I've never done it before.

Can it be done without the car being level? And how do you get it in there?

Yes, and its super easy from underneath even with the wheel still on.

I tried to level up the car the first time I did it, but my jack wouldn't go high enough in the rear. I've done it 2-3 times since just jacking up the front end enough to get underneath to loosen the drain/fill bolts. No problems there.

You'll need a funnel with a piece of hose attached to it. I use a thin funnel with some garden hose... works like a charm.

The bolt with the square in the head on the lower left is the drain... the one in the upper right with the regular head is the fill. You can access both from the driver's wheelwell.
