So I once agian am really really really close to selling my car, except the guy is from Canada and is telling me it needs daytime running lights? Is this true?

If so I'm guessing the Canadian issue RSX has that standard?

Here is the email

Thanks for responding, the timeframe I am looking at is possible between the end of feb to beginning of march I cannot get time off from work till then...because the car does need daytime running lights here in canada, would you be able to get that resolved for me and forget about the 100.00 you were going to take off the price of the ac control panel? let me know
thanks

Well you don't really NEED to but its required.

I know some ppl took out their DRLs however I am not sure about buying a car with out it.

hmmm.... wonder how selling it would actually work? if i took 100 off for him and just said hey go to canadian tires and get it changed? Considering we don't have one of those here...

He needs DRL for the car to pass Federal inspection.

But

he doesn't need DRL to import that car ;) it's two different things.

yeah u can sell it to him and he can pass the border without it, its just he needs to have it done when he goes in for inspection to actually get his car registered

don't take off 100$

they are buying it from you b/c it's already at a cheaper price..

i think they are just lowballing you..
tell them to go fuck themselves if they dont want it, it can be done in various places in canada.. or as someone has asked.. ask member cool for help
