I thought I would make this thread and post this link I found a while back. Its different oils and weights that have gone threw some testing and I believe Royal Purple came out to be #1. This is a great article for observation and may change some minds of people who think the oil they are using is good or bad. Again this is for observation and may be good to read from time to time. I dont remember If I found this in the forum or not.
I use Royal Purple since day one of owning the Rsx and I love it very much.
guys fill this thread with as much info as possible pertaining to any type of oil fundementals, characteristics, properties, weights, racing or non racing etc.....
I hope this turns out be a usefull info giude to oils for everyone, lets include transmission oil, powersteering oil, brake fluid, clutch fluid, differential oils anything thats a lubericant of any kind. Even what to use to lube your door hinges:laughing:
If there is something that you think is very important and you want added to the first page let me know and I would be more than happy to post it.

I switched from royal purple to pennzoil platinum a while back. RP served me well, but it is no longer comparable to other good synthetics out there except for the fact that it is packed with moly. As far as it's oil properties go, it doesn't fare as well as pennzoil platinum, and is at least $2 more a quart, and can't be had at walmart at 3am in gallon jugs.
