Hood spacers?

So I traded my K&N filter that was just sitting around collecting dust for JDM speed hood spacers. Does anyone else have them and do you think they work as intended rather than probly looking gay asf.

If they actually work as intended I’ll probly give them a try.

Unless you need hood clearance due to an engine swap, they're useless.

I know this was a thing with older Civics. If you have a SRI or airbox it might have a minimal effect, but on a CAI I'd think nothing.

I guess I’ll try it and see what happens if nothing I’ll just take them off probly, I do have a SRI so Mabe it will help, I’m gonna check the intake temp and coolant temp before and after at highway speeds and I’ll post the results. If it’s even a couple of degrees cooler then I think it’s worth it. Right now coolant runs 185-205 city and 179-195 highway not sure about intake temp.

I’m not running boost or anything like that. Just a A3 with mishimoto radiator. And a few other minor more mods.

remyrounds is an unknown quantity on c-rsx
They add heat to your bay, and make it so rain and dirt can get in. Ultra fail.

There has been testing on many forums about this, and every time the air swirled in unexpected ways that increased the heat.
