Type R vs Type S Headlights

Does anyone know if the Type S headlights can fit directly onto the Type R? if so..

How do the bulbs fit as well? A direct fit?

Thanks in advance.

There are 2 versions of the OEM headlights, halogen and hid. If you have halogen type r headlights, then yes, they are interchangeable with the type s headlights. Otherwise they are not direct fit. Regarding bulbs, depends on the type of headlight, hid or halogen.

I can't believe how many answers under this question falsely concluded that projector headlamps are equivalent to xenon (HID) headlamps. THEY ARE DIFFERENT; to be specific not even comparable ó itís like comparing an apple with a, well, Labrador.
Yes, almost ALL xenon headlamps have projectors. Only dumb people replace halogen bulbs with xenon ones on reflector headlamps, blinding and infuriating other road users Сlick here.

They are different. Type R uses HID. Type S uses halogen bulbs. You'll need to get the right bulbs and connectors.
