Still confused, if you are talking about the mixture of water/Meth it's water and Meth, not with shieldwasher fluid? GGet distilled water

Been running distilled water + heet (not iso heet) for years. Dump a bottle of heet in, then fill up heet container to where the bottle stops being flat/square and starts to slope up toward the neck with distilled water. That is 50/50 by weight methanol + water.

Very simple.

Cmist

That looks like a standard Meth setup.

With Kpro, you can skip the boost switch and use Nitrious tab.
Some of us like myself is using dual stage step up. spray little on mid rpm and
add more at higher rpm.

usually the arming wire will be E22 which is a brake switch for the ECU.
put a simple on/off switch here so you can turn the system on or off.

Use E21 as the output wire to control the spray. so if the system sees E22 On, then you can set condition under nitrous tab 1. Once ALL the condition are met, E21 will be on and meth will be sprayed.

I need some insight. I am running a twin screw pushing about 380 whp. I have a dual nozzle setup 14/4 = 18 gph on the car now making 400 whp. I am currently upgrading from a 72mm tb to a 90mm tb and it seems I should be gaining a good amount of power. Does anyone have some suggestions on if and what I should increase my gph nozzles too? im thinking maybe 20/2 or 20/4. but I don't want to get tuned and need more..... or go up and bog out. what do you guys think a good start is?

Run 40+GPH of 70%-80% Meth.

Do any of you guys remove the filter screen that is on the nozzle portion?
Seems like mine gets clogged every couple of weeks.

I'm finally starting to tune for W/M. I've set my kpro as follows under NO 1 tab:

Water/Alcohol injection from drop down menu

Arming= e22
Output= e21

Conditions:
Engine speed = 3000-8000
Engine Load= 85-158 kpa
Throttle= 81-107
Vehicle speed= 12-158
Knock count=0

Fuel & Ignition:
Rpm range set to 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500, 7000, 7250, 7500

All compensation values are set to 0 for now. Is it safe to allow spray without compensation at this point just to test IAT temps are reduced with spray? I'd like to see how effective the cooling is prior to tuning for more power w/ W/M.

My setup is JRSC k24a2 with 3.2" BP, K24a2 CP, ~ 7-8psi, AEM w/M kit with 500cc nozzle

Edit: So I ended up going to test and addressed my question. Yes, I was OK to run without any fuel or ign compensation. My IATs have dropped after several hard WOT pulls. I got up to 145* at start of pull and dropped to 114* by the end. I usually see the IATs continue to climb after WOT pulls.

W/M injection is working

over the years, I was playing with when will meth kicks in and how much fuel to pull. It all depends on the nozzle you use, basically, the bigger the nozzle, the more fuel you pulled up to a point.

If you don't pull fuel, the car won't go any faster, if you pull fuel, you have to advance ignition. I find it safe to stay within 24 degrees of Total Ignition under WOT. your AF ratio will go richer than 11.5 and that is expected.
In the other chat, I use 3 gpm starting at 2200rpm with 55% throttle and up. second stage kicks in after 4500 rpm. With that setup, I am able to run regular instead of premium or high octane fuel.
When you can save 6 to 10 bucks everytime you gas up, it adds up after a while.

so back to the topic. If you meth inject, you have to pull some fuel, start with 200 units and go up. You will reach a point where pulling fuel doesn't make much difference anymore and thats where you stop. Always have safety(lean cut) on and make sure your total advance from datalog never go past 24/25 degree max.

I follow those rules and never had any issue.

cheers

Sound advice and thank you for the explanation

I noticed after several datalogs, my ign goes to 21* right now without meth during WOT, so I need to retune as I'be changed my pulley setup.

Interesting tip about regular vs premium fuel. Once I get my tune set for my current mods, I'll play with meth injection based on this thread and your advice
