-Quick Question
i just bought an Injen SRI and an Injen heatshield for my 05 type s. i was warned from some wrx buddies about my car running bad without a tune. i wanted to wait a little while to get the cat back and then tune it.

is it damaging to the engine to run a SRI without a tune, or is it going to run Rich/Lean

it will run fine... the wrx is a mass air car, and i'm pretty sure runs a recicular valve. they can do something as small as going to an atmospherical bov and run like shit. a lot of mass air cars act like shitheads due to the mass air, some are pretty good with being adaptive though. the type s is a speed density car (map sensor.)

hello everyone,
so i have this kpro map and was wondering if someone could make it a tad less aggressive. the map is off another car with almost exact mods as me, but its pretty aggressive and i dont feel 100% safe with it like that, so i was hoping someone could help a brother out and adjust it a tad..

with kpro, you can tune your whole engine (idle, part throttle, low cam, high cam). The performance depends on a vtc tune and the modifications.

I got my car tunes at Jotech, I don't know why he tuned it for no topend...it's like he tuned it for less than a 1/8th of a mile..........we kill'm out of the hole and half way down the track, then get cought by a half car at the end..............

A) A second run lost a few horsepower due to heat etc that sometimes happens between runs.

B) He reached a point where you made more power, but had knock, so he backed it off for safety.

forgot to add skunk cams.......my bad.....shorty header...........tintanium springs and inserts....stainless valves....

Let me ask you how much time was spent on the dyno? I highly doubt you spent a grand on the tune alone. Was a full vtc tune done?

don't know what vtc. is........yes we spent a grand , took 3hous........that inludes sending off and recieving , installing Kpro..............
