greddy evo2 exhaust pass smog?

i just got a greddy evo2 exhaust for my rsx base model, i did some research and read that all greddy made exhausts are street legal and i shouldnt have any problems passing smog, i live in so cal. the people that are installing it for me keeps telling me i wont be able to pass with smog. i'm thinking they're just trying to scare me and whatnot..

so basically, my question is, will my greddy evo2 exhaust pass smog in the state of CA? thank you in advance for your replies.

I would think you should pass as long as you still have the cat installed...

Is the evo2 all you have? No race header or anything?

I passed smog earlier this year with a cai and evo2, i'm in cali as well so you shouldn't have any issues unless you did remove the cat.

LOL what make you said your CAI is at the bottom of the airbox.

Btw, i never understand why CAI would affect the emission. Its just another way for the government to rip off the scene. (carb sticker cost money)

As long as you still have your cat you should be fine... I just passed a few weeks ago with AEM v2 intake, Tanabe touring medallion exhaust, and DC shorty header.

You can pass smog with an exhaust..long as you have a cat still. Passed smog with CAI and exhaust about a month ago. If the people are dicks about an exhuast, no you wont pass the visual test. Just depends where you go! GL though

If this is a regular smog check for DMV registration renewal, you'll pass. I just passed with injen cai, comptech shorty, stock cat and hks hi-power exhaust on my EP 2 weeks ago and I'm in kali as well.

I would only worry if your going to state ref as they are a bit more strict and would most likely measure the sound by decibles.

exhausts are carb legal, - they dont affect emissions

street legal means meeting a decibel requiremetn NOT smog
