If you want to get ugly about this.....we can make this public then.....I never said those pictures were mine either, someone asked how I pplanned on putting it in and showed them yours because it seemed good

Let's ask people their opinion on the situation. I will try to include all of the facts whether they are in my favor or not.

1. daddyS asks for a GB on NX kits
2. jdkindle says I want one
3. daddyS names a prce and a source and I say lets try cheaper and we find a place to get them cheaper
4. daddyS places the order on my CC and has it shipped to my house. He then tells me he is having a bottle shipped to my house for him and he will pick it up when we plannned on getting together.
5. I check my CC and there is more than the amount charged to my card than I had expected so I ask daddyS about it
6. He says he will pay me back for the extra bottle he ordered when we get together. Not exactly cool IMO, but no big deal really. He winds up sending me a check for what I thought was going to be what he owed on the deal
7. The package arrives and there is only one bottle
8. I tell daddyS that there is only one bottle, and the fun begins
9. He suggests he gives me his used bottle and takes the upraded one - I say no, I do not want a used one and would rather return your money and just keep the upgraded one

now, before I state my opinions and outlooks, I will allow time for daddyS to reply with any facts that he feels should be mentioned......after that I will then make my arguement

I am running a bit lean it seems and can sense some detonation in all cylinders but it is not too bad yet - how do you hook up an air/fuel gauge on our car? I upped the fuel jet to see if that helps any.

I believe you just tie in to the signal coming from your O2 sensor.

Actually, you should instead get something that retards your timing when it senses detonation. I'm not sure if J&S Safeguard does that. My neighbor has it on his car and he's got a supercharged GSR, so I can't remember if it senses too much boost, detonation or a lean condition. Something you might want to look into.

I believe there is no known way to adjust our timing. I called AEM and they just laughed at the possibility of anything happening with the RSX as far as their EMS goes. Thanks for the suggestions and info!

Jeramy,
I say, if you don't owe him any money then its not your problem. If you do then just send it back and he can get it himself.

BTW, are we gonna see you this weekend at the autox.

GSXR were you runnning cooler plugs or retarded your timing at all? Do not get me wrong nitrous can blow your motor just like a turbo or a supercharger could but if done properly you should have no problems. Jdkindle I am assuming you put the kit in already, have you been to the track yet?

I don't expect to be close to that - maybe 13.6-13.7 - I get tires on Friday that should take off .2-.3 hopefully. What sucks is that I have to learn to launch again

Thumbs up

The shop I'm always at just blew one REAL good

It was a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer running a 50-shot.

That's right, a 50-shot

Opened up the motor and found a piston cleaved in two. That's also no joke, cracked the mofo right in half.

Funny, though. Even the driver was laughing. We couldn't find anything wrong with the install, except that it was a dry kit
