OEM Aluminum Shift Knob. Has just a little weight to it with a very nice feel. Only downfall is that it gets hot as hell when it's parked in the sun. Takes a few minutes to cool down.

i just put 2 zip ties on the shift lever, installed the part that holds up the shift boot and the knob, then pushed the zip ties all the way up, now the boot stays up. no idea how anyone else does it, but i had to modify nothing for this

I got the new Mugen 5 MT shiftknob, even though I have the 6 speed. I didn't want the engravings on the top. The knob is heavy for easier throws, but some say it is a little big.

nope, if you put them both tight enough they will hold each other up, it takes a good bit of force for me to move them down, and i have to do it 1 at a time

The Skunk2 is the way to go. I have a Neuspeed short shifter, aluminum bushings, ad nauseum, but the Skunk2 shiftknob made the single greatest impression on my shifting. The added weight really gives some meat to your shifts.
