Slow but sure. Setting up for the merge angles and keeping them equal length is not a wham-bam quicky job.



Also scored a new, heavier table for real work. A little elbow grease to get rid of the paint on the top....


We now have a good piece, and just in time to hold up the other new addition to the garage!!!

I was at Techmotion last week with my car on the dyno. I was looking at your work on Matthews mustang. Just wanted to say your skills are very impressive all the welds look flawless.

Haha that is what I thought. I asked him who did his fabrication work and he said you did, and that you drove an RSX aswell. So I knew you would be on here
The dyno is deffinatly a ball buster. I did not get the numbers I had hoped,
I made 145whp 120tq on my base with I/H/E/RBC and tune. It was back when it
was really hot a week or two ago so that didn't help either.
But I am still satisfied the car runs alot better than the street tune I was running

Yeah ill bet with that .045 filler, your penetration is great and probably almost 0 distortion... certainly nothing that would effect horsepower...

Matthew and I are good friends. I originally set-up DC5AB with him for dyno days because of his education and the fact he doesn't sell any products. He is completely unbiased. He'll do what he can, and he is a genius with software.
That was way back in 2004, so long ago now.
On a side note, I still have to go look at my next project. Another rsx for me, but an all-out drag car from scratch. It will be a fun ride, likely to take 4-5years to complete.
Details in the weeks to come. I will also do a running update on it in another thread once I get rolling.

My buddy has a twin scroll F1 Gt35r running dual wastegates, his pick up feels like a N/A motor... the boost is very smooth
