Probably could send them in to get re-valved for higher rate springs?

Or are you looking to change out the entire coilover?

14k/18k is probably a good happy medium.

I still think 18k/26k would be murder on the street (at least in MI).

There is absolutely no way I would consider rates like that (14/18). The suspension geometry is so wonky on these cars that it needs a ton of spring rate in the rear to rotate. Even with my 16k/26k I want a stiffer rear (I don't run smaller tires in the rear which is probably a mistake). Look at all the older RSX touring racecars. They all run 2,000+lbs of spring in the rear.

That's just too much spring if you drive the car on the street.

I don't disagree with you though. Reverse stagger would probably help a bit.

Maybe if you daily drive the car. It rides no worse than my old Buddy Club RSDs with 10k/16k. I've driven from DC to Road Atlanta and back and I thought it was fine. Albeit I am sure the roads up north are way more fucked up then here.

I often wonder why I have coilovers on my car on Michigan roads, it's awful.

However, this is track chat. I did enjoy how the RSDs rode when I had them, but again, very soft front spring.

Wish I had more time to get to the track

Yea I really liked my RSD's but as you said, soft spring. Hence why I upped the front an additional 6k and the rear an additional 10k. Also the AMR shocks are way superior to the Buddy Clubs on both the street and the track.

I want to since the fronts are brand new and the rears have less than 2k miles but the rates scare me.
