Lightbulb ITR dead pedal fitment??

Quick question regarding the ITR dead pedal fitment

Once installed, it appears the pedal is slightly larger than the base under from where the stock one sits.

The top of the pedal overhangs and, when you put your hand behind it isn't sitting perfectly in place of where the old one was

From other pictures i've seen ,it looks correct and is installed flat.
Am I missing something here?

It's a very easy installation. Should simply clip on if I remember correctly.

Is this a replica or actual JDM pedal?

From my understanding actual JDM pedals fit a tad bigger cause of the LHD/RHD difference. I may be wrong.

If it's a replica, should fit right over the stock pedal.

I'm pretty sure it's the just difference of the LHD/RHD sides.

The JDM dead pedal backing is larger on the JDM DC5. It will always be that way with the extra spacing at the top.

And no... you can not fit a JDM backing on to a USDM car it just wont fit.

No problem. Just to drive home the point, i bought a JDM dead pedal plate.... wasted 20.00 on a hunk of metal.

No. JDM set is OEM and looks great. Strut king works just as well, and looks nice too.

The only issue here is the JDM set creates a small gap between the carpet and pedal. No one.. and I mean other than the driver will ever know this gap exist.

So strut king or JDM either are good to go!
