So to those who are using the straps, where are you jacking the car up from to pull the support back down?

Did this the other day. It helped a lot but I couldn't get the radiator support completely straight. I have a really small gap between the bumper and hood on the passenger side but I'm satisfied. Glad this diy is here.

I tried the Tie strap method on my 05-06. Didn't work since I cant thread the tie strap under the rad and there isnt those hooks like the ones I see here on 02-04 models :/

This is actually pretty frustrating.

Another option is to take the radiator out and just bang it straight

god bless this thread. I thought my luck finally ran out when the jack slipped and I smashed the radiator support up. Hood wasn’t even close to closing. I used the strap method and it worked like a charm. I was freaking out, even called my go to shop already to get an appointment lol until I saw this.
