a/f is monitored by the first sensor.

he's talking about having BOTH defoulers being used on the 2nd sensor as told by the instructions. i threw a CEL (every 100 or so miles) using one defouler so I'm gonna get my second one installed tomorrow and see if it can go away.

yeah, go to autozone and get the Help brand one model 42009

i only used 1 because my friend used it... i'm gonna use 2... pretty sure the problem will go away for a long time because it barely comes on with 1 in there and it works pretty well. (i just resetted and so far no CEL with 40 miles)

what do you mean cat... are u talking about cel?

to get rid of cat just replace it with something that fills it in lol. you put the o2 sensors in the bungs that the pipes usually have. the defoulers help in keeping the chemicals away from the sensor itself so you don't get a cat failure CEL. its safe and under WOT it doesn't fail. i've WOTd a lot since I had my testpipe on and I've had it for around 200 miles with no CEL yet. I got it the first time installed however, (in 40 miles it came on) but after I reset the ECU (disconnected negative terminal in battery... made sure that shit was all gone lol so I left it off for 10 minutes), CEL hasn't come on since...

ADVICE: ESMM, DCRH, and Front Sway Bar install (same time)

I will be installing the said parts next week all at the same time. Does anyone have any tips on this? I have read and re-read all the DIYs on these and think that I am ready. Anyone have any suggestions as to what order I should do things? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. PS. Is it ok that I will be doing everything by myself or is it mandatory to have an extra set of hands? Thanks again!

So, on the Megan test pipe...insert the primary o2 sensor into the resonator inlet correct? And then aplly the defoulers to the secondary inlet, which is the one on the piping correct?

the secondary goes onto the one closest to the rear = on the resonator. the one closest to the header is the bung for the primary sensor.

Not to be an jerk but you blantantly ripped off my DIY sticky from ephatch without giving any credit what so ever.

Normally I wouldn't care, since I did the diy and posted it for others, however individuals on other forums at least had enough courtesy to contact me personally first and ask if it was ok to put up and use my information and pictures. I'm glad people found my work helpful, but I don't care for other people taking credit for someone else's work.

I first linked members here to my sticky on ephatch in the following thread post number 54

Not to start anything either but I'm sure you are not the original idealist. Many companies have made the exact same thing.

On the other hand, you may have been the first one to use the Motormite part. It is one thing if he used your pictures but if those are his authentic pics than he didn't steal anything. He made it applicable for the RSX.

Since you have done it though, can you tell me if it will work on any vehicle turbo or non-turbo?

Thanks (no offense intended)
