Oh, didn't know you had the OEM ones... I think you need to re-wire and go to constant, I ended up tapping into my deck wires when I ran my harness. sorry!

Would I be able to just connect the positive and the negative to pins 2 and 5? Pretty much use it as a basic on and off switch?

pin 2-Positive, this completes the circuit for the on/off function
pin 5-Ground/Negative for on/off function

it should work but the fog symbol and the green light (on the switch) just won't illuminate

I'm doing the installation today and it seems like I got everything wired up correctly, but not getting any power to the foglights. I'm getting power at the switch though.

Ight, would someone help me plz. My friend installed my after market fog for me but with the harness provided, he couldn't figure out where to plug it so instead, he use his 04 oem fog harness to install on my 05 ebay fog. It works fine but the thing is, on the button, the red doesn't light up, just the green part. Anyone know what's wrong?

argh.

I hope this works.

I tapped 4 and 5 together, and connected them to the ground on my nana.outpost harness.

Installing tommorow, I'll let you guys know what happens.

are all the fog light switches the same throughout the years? I would think so, but I called Acura today and they don't sell the switch separately for the 05-06, but they do for the 02-04.

I have an 05-06 replica set with the MotorBlvd harness I believe, so would this DIY work?

Two quick questions. Does anyone know if you can use some type of wire connectors instead of a soldering iron? I'm not great with a soldering iron. The other is my OEM switch as a brown guard around the pins. Did you guys just cut it off?
