What up TL People?

So I have an '04 Base Rsx. Im upgrading to a midsize sports sedan soon, and I'm leaning towards an '07 or '08 TL-S. My other options are Subaru LGT or Lexus IS 350.

I bought the RSX because I hated my heavy, unreliable '99 Passat V6.

Basically what I want is this:
-A very reliable DD that is fun to drive.
-Auto with sport-shift, preferrably paddle shifters. (also i effing hate when the car upshifts itself at redline in manual mode. my rsx doesnt, but my Passat did, does the TL-s?)
-4 doors, since I want to keep this car for 5+ years and plan to have children.
-Reasonably stiff suspension.
-comfortable seats, heated leather. cooled seats would be nice too.
-decent stock sound system
-fairly easy to find bolt-on goodies (CAI, ecu mods, suspension upgrades)
-looking around $20k-$30k with 20k to30k miles.

Anybody with an '07 or '08 TL or TL-S that wants to talk about what they love or hate about it?

Basically, what do you wish you knew when you were shopping for TL's.

Thanks guys, and happy

I just picked up an 07 TL-S auto w/ paddle shift. Mine is fully loaded and I love it. Seats are comfy, interior is banging, tons of room, lots of space. Stock sound system sounds amazing when dialed in and XM is nice to have. Navi, heated seats, lights and cupholders everywhere
And no it doesnt auto upshift in sport mode

Yeah there will be zero rice on mine as well if I go that route. Intake is a possibility, but the stock exhaust is sporty enough. Re-flash would be a good mod too but its not available for these

Picked up my 07' TL-S not too long ago, I still enjoy opening the driver door every morning, getting into my memory seat, car adjusts to my temperature, music, etc; it never gets old!
The sound on the car is spectacular, the quad-exhaust sound output is like orgasm to the ears.
The car is a great eye appeal, slick and sporty, have gotten many compliments on the car within the couple of weeks I've owned it.
Power is more then enough for a daily driver. Navigation is standard, the MID computer helps with my oil life and when it has to be changed (I'm horrible at remembering when lol). Also the hands free voice control is wonderful! Change temperature, destination on the navigation, fan speed, change CD's, radio stations, you name it! Simply a great car overall.
I ordered my Type-S aspec lip kit, should be coming in soon, if you want more information on the lip kit, there are dealers on Acurazine.com that are doing specials and group buys.
My future plans for the car is quite simple, get coilovers, and I'm in the process of getting Work VS-XX, and maybe in the future splurge on a comptech supercharger and call it a day.
Sold my RSX for the TL-S, have not doubt my decision once.
Hope you can join the TL crew! Good luck!

Nine! Thanks for the review!

Im going to test-drive one today... not considering buying the one im driving (its red with tan interior, not my style), but just to get the feel of it.

I want to go certified pre-owned from Acura, Either KBP, SSM, or whatever the white color is called. With the black interior. Mmmm.
