I been trying to figure out if it's possible to extend the IAT cord wires, I have a 2002 Acura rsx base leather edition, Im trying to install a AEM V2 intake but the hole for the IAT sensor is all the way close to the filter not next to the throttle plate where the stock intake is at, can some one please help me with this?
It shouldn't. I believe that the only differences are the location of the IAT and maybe a few millimeters of other brackets. Folks have made them fit before.
If you bought the base elbow, you won't need to extend the wires since the hole is closer. But color shouldn't matter, as long as it's not overly thick or thin lol
Thanks for the reply I really like how the AEM v2 sound on my engine, I'll probably stick with ur advice since Ithat way I would avoid any wire cutting and shorting any wires, thanks again and very pleased to be in the club
