For those who have changed an Oil Pressure Sensor

Kinda embarrassing, but i didnt pay attention to the old Oil pressure sensor when i removed it. The new one is not bottoming out. I am not sure if it is supposed to or not. I have about a 1/4 inch gap between the base (flat part) and the block. Although its definitly got more than the 16 inch pounds of torque on it. Mind you, this is not an oem sensor, dimensions are not the same, but the threaded portion was pretty damn close. I did start the engine, and the light went out and i didnt notice a leak in the 5 minutes i ran it. I'll keep an eye on it, but just hoping for someone elses thoughts who have changed it before.

dustyboner is an unknown quantity on c-rsx
it doesn't need to bottom out. just make sure you put some hondabond or teflon tape or other pipe/thread sealant on threads and it'll be fine.

Thanks. I put hondabond on. Appreciate it. I was worrying if I crank on it any more I'll strip it out, or worse crack the case..
