Sell it and buy something with a turbo or more displacement. Shit bottom end is just the way of life for any naturally aspirated four cylinder. Even my H22 was a bit of a dog down low stock.
If Acura wasn't lying in the dealer brochures, the base has a hair more low-end grunt than a Type S anyway. People rag on the plastic manifolds, but the longer runners and butterflies do work. I think once my A3 dies and I swap in a K24, I'll leave those limp dick-looking runners on, thank you very much.
