Why doesn't someone make just the lenses for headlights to solve the yellow/fogging issue? It looks like they are removable? It should be a lot less expensive..
Agreed, this would be nice. It'd be a hell of a lot cheaper in the end just replacing the lenses than having to replace the full headlights or buying an ebay pair to swap the lenses over from
^ what he said... all you can do is replace the headlamp or restore the lens. If its messed up, and ive seen a lot that are, just buy a restoration kit and refresh the lens every 3-4 months. You may see the clarity start to diminish as early as 2 months. Doesnt take long to do and works well. If you want to take it one step further there are methods for 'sealing' or coating it after you restore it that will make it last much longer. I suggest googling it or looking on teamintegra.net. Theres already a discussion over there that covers this.
There are some lenses that just cannot be fixed though... like those guys who do the DIY blackouts, and dont bake the bezel before resealing their housings again.
Mine stopped oxidizing on the outside after I put clear bra film on. I have some fogging on the inside from condensation though.
