Recently upgraded my base model 2005 Acura RSX automatic I put a Type S throttle body and intake manifold I am wondering if a Type S ECU will work in this car and will it still run right and function correctly

It wouldn't be plug and play. You would need to swap out the key and ignition of that type s ecu because of the immobilizer will stop your car from starting if they do not match. Do know that the type s ran a different engine than the base, so we're talking like bigger cams, high compression, and other things. Putting in this ecu will most likely cause stress and damage to your car. Better option is to just get a standalone ecu.
