What's up S/C crew!

I haven't drove my car in months. I went through so much to get the car boosted & running but a couple months after that I stopped driving it. Truck Life took over. I still have tons of parts left to install. Just ordered a Ktune battery tie down, new injen air filter and Mobil 1 Synthetic oil. Time to get her back on the road again.

Been there... Had a similar situation when I spun my rod bearing before swapping in the k24. Car sat... Then slowly put it back together. End product was well worth the wait!

Nice! I'm glad we don't have emissions in FL. Can't imagine having to uninstall/reinstall the race header every year as I heard some folks have to deal with the catalytic converter requirement.

Aww yeah! Post up the results... Interested to see how it turns out. What's your IATs looking like pre & post meth injection? Also what's your AIS setup?

I just made another batch of DIY boost juice using HEET + Distilled water.

I need to do a log with meth on and off to get precise #s, I can take one once the tune is finished or near completion. he's still working on it, just messing with fueling right now as far as I can tell, little advance so far as I'm only on the second meth revision.

It's a bit cooler today as hurricane is nearing my loca but I was seeing only 95F IAT after a single pull which is definitely lower than I'm used to.

Kit is the AIS trunk mount setup, they sent me a 10 and 14gph, using the 14.

Sounds good! Definitely keep us posted. I'm sure you are aware, but insure you keep your base tune (no meth) .kal settings consistent in the event that you run low on meth. I made all my meth injection compensation using the nitrous tabs.

Good call with the 14gph nozzle. Our blower loves the spray and it's crazy how much we can inject without bogging.

Yep, I'm not tuning it haha, zero knowledge in that aspect of things but yep the meth is activated / controlled thru kpro nitrous tabs for sure.

Well the old RSX passed the emissions test running on the E85 tune with no issues. Slapped the header back on and sheís ready to compete against the wannabes. Takes me about 35 minutes to switch things around.

Last weekend I drove the RSX to a local car meet. Iím a car enthusiast but I hate to say for the first time after looking at a dozen late 60s - early 80s muscle cars I started to get bored - ďbeen there, done thatĒ. So I popped the hood on the RSX to show off the engine mods and also demonstrated on the laptop the programming capabilities of the ECU. I think a few onlookers were dazzled by the potential hp that a well built 4 cylinder engine can generate with today's technology. Hopefully few of them will want to crossover to the tuner side.

That's awesome! Never thought about bringing a laptop to a car meet before... I agree, it's been years since I've done one and it's the same old scene. At the last one, I actually had my kid's car seats in and people were shocked the RSX had the latch mounts in the rear hatch.

I want to get back into autox.... Temps are my biggest enemy, so I'll probably only run in fall/winter time.

Took the RSX out today for a short drive around town. The old girl still draws attention. Focus ST and BMW drivers are so easy to sandbag.

Aww yeah! Here in Central Florida, nice cool mid 60s this morning and the RSX was loving it. This is my favorite time of the year here.

got a question.
Are tensioner brackets from merc racing the same for both JRSC and CTSC? Can I use Merc Racing bracket for CTSC on a JRSC unit?

Not sure on the bracket, if he has a designation between the two probably best to ask him directly, don't see why they wouldn't be the same really though... If you get his adjustable tensioner system, then yes that will work on either.

For the tensioner bracket, I'm 90% sure they should be interchangeable. Best to get confirmation from Jmercado prior too as recommended in post above.

got the confirmation that they are the same piece from Jmercado. As the blower pulley of CT and JR unit are almost located in the same place.

Nice! Good to know! Same applies for the PS steering pulley. Since the JRSC kit is discontinued, good to know where things are interchangeable between both kits.

CMC and radiator

Well, after 334000 KM, the CMC finally died, 2 of the 3 bolts that hold the
triangular plate broke and fluid leaked out.
Luckily, i have a 05 civic CMC on standby. slight mod to the exit nut that screws the
hard line into and it worked.

The week before that, the cooling fan/Denso unit came off the center metal piece and
punch a hole in the rad. Had to limp home and ordered a replacement. Rad also have
the same millage as above. if I would have detected the fan earlier, my OE denso
rad can probably go another 300000 KM. LOL
